Here are the key features and advantages of our Vito Zip system:
1. Durable and Corrosion-Resistant: The profile body of the Vito Zip system is constructed from aluminum, ensuring its durability and resistance to corrosion. Additionally, the system can be colored in any shade from the RAL color scale, allowing for customization to match your preferences.
2. Zipper-Lock Technology: The Vito Zip system secures the fabric in the guides using a zipper-lock mechanism. This design provides notable benefits, including enhanced wind resistance of up to 140 km/h and the elimination of lateral gaps.
3. Ideal for Outdoor Spaces: The Vito Zip system is the perfect solution for gazebos, verandas, and open terraces. It combines sun and wind protection, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor areas in comfort. The system is available in a wide range of fabric colors, ensuring it blends seamlessly with any facade.
4. High-Quality Fabrics: The Vito Zip system is compatible with screen-like fabrics based on fiberglass, which offer excellent thermal insulation properties and block up to 97% of ultraviolet radiation. These fabrics feature a special coating and weaving that reduce glare and maintain consistent fabric tension. We also offer Soltis PVC-based fabrics and acrylic fabrics for the Vito Zip system. These fabrics have UV-impregnation for enhanced protection against UV rays, and a water repellent treatment. We use Serge Ferrari fabrics from France, with 97% UV blocking.
5. Optimal Lighting and Thermal Conditions: The screen fabrics used in the Vito Zip system create a pleasant indoor environment by regulating lighting and thermal conditions. They effectively prevent overheating during summer and provide insulation during winter.
6. Insect Protection: During warmer months, the Vito Zip system can be used as a protective barrier against insects. By fully lowering the system after opening the window, you can allow fresh air into the room while keeping annoying mosquitoes and bugs outside, thanks to the zipper lock system and additional side seals.
7. Silent Operation: The Vito Zip system operates silently, thanks to its dynamic design and special belt mechanism.
The Vito Zip system offers practicality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. It can be controlled through various options, including push-button control, remote control, or even via a tablet or phone. The system utilizes SOMFY motors.
Our Vito Zip systems are available in two versions: Vito Zip Q 80 Premium and Vito Zip Q 81 Standard. These versions offer modern aesthetic forms, modularity, a wide color selection, compact sizes, high wind resistance, and various size options. Installation and use of the Vito Zip system are easy, and the belt system ensures silent operation. You can choose from push-button control or multiple options for remote control.

Motorized patio screens VITO ZIP
10-year warranty on all ALUMINANTE systems
Motorized patio screens for year-round outdoor comfort
VITO ZIP is a vertical motorized patio screen for pergolas, verandas and open terraces, also sold as retractable patio screens. It works like a roller shade with side guides. The fabric locks into those guides with a zip fastener, which is where the name comes from. The closed surface blocks sun and holds against wind up to 140 km/h.
In Europe the system is known as a zip screen, and in Australia the same product family is often called zip track blinds.
Aluminum frame, RAL color, Serge Ferrari fabric
The frame is aluminum with powder coating in any RAL color, and a wood grain finish is also available. Architects can match the screen to the pergola, the facade or the surrounding joinery.
The fabric comes from Serge Ferrari in France. It has an antibacterial and water repellent treatment, it does not fade, and its micro perforated composite structure blocks 97% of UV radiation. The fabric carries a 5 year warranty.
The screen runs on a Somfy motor. It is operated with a wall button, a remote, a tablet or a phone. Two versions are available, VITO ZIP Q80 Premium and Q81 Standard. They differ in cassette size: 125 mm or 150 mm.

Where VITO ZIP fits on a project
The most common use is a pergola or veranda that needs shade on one or more sides. Because the screen runs vertically, it handles low sun angles that a roof alone will not stop.
VITO ZIP also works alongside other systems on the same structure. Pair it with SKYLINE guillotine glazing for a space that can be closed or opened. For shade under the roof itself, see DAZZONI.
