Frameless glass patio enclosure cost starts with the glass walls themselves: insulated frameless sliding glass runs about $143–166 per m² (about $13–15 per sq ft) for the complete system, at factory list price in Turkey. In our completed projects, a 6 × 3 m house terrace closed with insulated glass walls came to $8,400, and terraces with a roof and frameless glass patio enclosures ran from $16,500 to $50,000. Shipping, import duties, taxes and installation come on top.

All prices are from completed projects on our Projects page, where each one has photos and what's included.
Look at rows four and five. Same size, same pergola, same frameless sliding glass, and $2,000 apart. The visible difference is the zip screens. Across the whole table, the roof moves the total more than the glass does.

How much does it cost to glass in a patio?
About $143–166 per m² of insulated frameless sliding glass, or roughly $13–15 per sq ft, at factory list price in Turkey.
That's the price of the complete system. It doesn't include shipping, import duties, taxes or installation, because those depend on where the project is. Prices also change, so treat it as a budgeting number. The exact patio enclosure price comes from your drawings or specs.
What drives patio enclosure cost
1. Insulated or single glass
ORIZZONTE uses single 10 mm tempered glass. It stops wind and rain but doesn't hold heat, so it suits seasonal terraces. ORIZZONTE THERMO carries a double-glazed insulated unit for a terrace that has to work as a heated room in winter, or a veranda that must stop drafts. There's also a cold-series option: the same THERMO profile takes an 8 mm single pane through an adapter.
2. Opening width and panel height
More panels and taller panels mean more glass and more aluminum. ORIZZONTE panels go up to 1 000 mm wide and 3 500 mm high, and the number of panels is unlimited. ORIZZONTE THERMO leaves go up to 1 000 × 3 000 mm, and one wall runs up to 11 000 mm long with no support posts in between. SPAZIO panels go up to 1 000 × 3 000 mm and close openings up to 20 m wide without extra support beams.
3. Sliding or folding
ORIZZONTE slides. Its 2- and 3-track profiles join into one threshold of 20+ tracks, so a 15 m opening is one system, and the panels stack to whichever side you choose. SPAZIO folds: the panels park in a stack at right angles to the opening, on one side or both, and the opening clears completely. Four rollers carry each panel and four more guide it, so the system can hang from the top track or stand on the bottom one. The comparison table below shows where each one fits.
4. Glass only or a complete terrace
If you already have a covered porch, you're buying glass walls and guides. If not, the roof becomes the bigger part of the budget: a PRADA glass roof, a VISTA retractable fabric roof, an ACURA louvered pergola or a SKYTECH automatic glass roof.
5. Screens, threshold and details
VITO ZIP motorized zip screens, a 7 mm low threshold, guides concealed in the floor and ceiling, a corner without a post. Each detail is a choice, and each shows up in the quote.
6. Shipping, duties and installation
Production takes 2–4 weeks, and a container to the US or Canada takes about a month. Duties depend on the location. Installation depends on the site: an uneven floor, for example, has to be leveled first. Both sit outside the factory price.

Sliding or folding: ORIZZONTE vs SPAZIO
Three systems, three different jobs:
| Feature | ORIZZONTE (sliding) | ORIZZONTE THERMO (sliding, insulated) | SPAZIO (folding) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glass | Tempered, 10 mm | Double-glazed insulated unit (8 mm single pane option) | Tempered, 8–10 mm |
| Insulated | No | Yes, holds heat | No |
| Max panel height | 3 500 mm | 3 000 mm | 3 000 mm |
| Max panel width | 1 000 mm | 1 000 mm per leaf | 1 000 mm |
| Max opening | Unlimited panels on one 20+ track threshold | Up to 11 000 mm without posts | Up to 20 m without support beams |
| Threshold | Low, 7 mm | Surface-mounted, with an insert the rollers run on that protects the threshold; guides can also be concealed in floor and ceiling | 35 mm standard or 7 mm low |
| How it opens | Slides, panels stack to the left or right | Slides from the center or to one side, push the first panel and the wall follows | Folds into a stack at right angles to the opening, one or both sides; opening clears completely |
| Best for | Tall openings, seasonal terraces | Terraces used in winter | Restaurant verandas, seasonal spaces |
Pick ORIZZONTE for tall, wide openings: 3 500 mm panels on a 7 mm threshold. Pick ORIZZONTE THERMO if anyone plans to sit there in January. Pick SPAZIO when the opening has to disappear in summer.
Is a frameless glass porch enclosure a sunroom?
It can be. ORIZZONTE THERMO under a roof turns a terrace into a room you can heat in winter, which is what most people mean by a sunroom.
ORIZZONTE and SPAZIO aren't insulated. They're windbreaks for seasonal spaces, and for restaurants that's often the point: an open veranda usually closes by mid-September, while a glazed one can seat guests from March to the end of October, depending on the climate.
How to get an accurate patio enclosures cost estimate
Send us these and we'll calculate it from your drawings or specs:
- Opening width and height, or drawings.
- Insulated or not: will the space be heated in winter?
- Existing roof, or do you need one?
- How it should open: sliding to one side, from the center, or folding.
- Delivery location, for shipping and duties.
Which enclosure fits your project
Private villa terrace
For year-round use, ORIZZONTE THERMO under an ACURA louvered pergola or a PRADA glass roof. For a summer terrace with tall openings, ORIZZONTE with 3 500 mm panels on a 7 mm threshold.
Restaurant or hotel veranda
SPAZIO if the walls should vanish in summer. ORIZZONTE for long facades, since a 15 m opening is one system on one threshold. Add VITO ZIP motorized zip screens on the open sides.
Contractor on a multi-unit project
One supplier for roof, glass and screens. The parts are designed together and ship as one package, so there's no fitting three vendors' systems on site. We ship complete systems, or profiles only if you assemble locally.

FAQ
How much does a patio enclosure cost per square foot?
Insulated frameless sliding glass (ORIZZONTE THERMO) runs about $13–15 per sq ft at factory list price in Turkey for the complete system, before shipping, duties, taxes and installation. A roof, screens and other options add to the project total.
Can you add frameless glass to an existing pergola or patio cover?
Yes. SPAZIO combines with ACURA and VISTA pergolas and the PRADA glass roof, and our projects include ORIZZONTE walls under ACURA, VISTA, PRADA and SKYTECH roofs.
How long does delivery take to the US or Canada?
Production takes 2–4 weeks. The container to the US or Canada takes about a month.
Do frameless glass doors cost more than framed sliding doors?
No. Per m², frameless sliding glass doesn't cost more than framed sliding doors, and often costs less. The total depends on the factors above.
