ACURA Q25 Premium in short
Q25 Premium is a retractable louvered pergola, the largest in the ACURA range. Its 310 mm aluminum louvers rotate 75 degrees and slide together, so 85% of the roof opens to the sky. In Europe the same type is sold as a bioclimatic pergola with sliding louvres.
One module covers up to 9 000 by 4 000 mm, and the number of modules is not limited. That combination is what puts Q25 over large restaurant terraces, hotel pool decks and rooftop bars.

Mechanism
How the louvers move
The louvers do two things at once: each one turns on its axis and the whole set slides to one side, the way a pair of scissors closes. Rotation alone would leave the blades in the view; sliding clears them.
Closed, the louvers press onto seals and the roof is watertight. Water runs into gutters hidden in the beams and down inside the posts, so nothing drips over the table.
